Saxenda

Saxenda® (liraglutide) injection 3 mg is an injectable prescription medicine used for adults with excess weight (BMI ≥27) who also have weight-related medical problems or obesity (BMI ≥30), and children aged 12-17 years with a body weight above 132 pounds (60 kg) and obesity to help them lose weight and keep the weight off. Saxenda® should be used with a reduced calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Usage Instructions:
Saxenda is administered as a subcutaneous injection once a day, typically in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. It's easy to use with a pre-filled pen, and we will guide you on how to properly inject the medication.

Before using Saxenda, tell our doctors if you:

1. Are taking other medications 
2. Have stomach problems (like slow digestion), or issues with your pancreas, kidneys, or liver
3. Have a history of depression or mental health concerns
4. Are planning to have surgery or need anesthesia

5. Are pregnant
